fast updates.

>  We are currently in blustery Chicago.  This trip was made for two very important reasons.  The first being, so we could hang out with Chris’s amazing brother and sister in law.   And also so I could spend a paycheck at my favorite place on earth, IKEA.  And I did. And I got some amazing deals.  Like this unfinished rocking chair.

Originally $149 just for the frame.  I found on clearance for $49 including the cushion.  Someone give me a holla please??  Now all I have to do is decide if I want to finish it.  Which will more than likely be a yes. So let’s just add that to the long list of DIY projects I have planned for the nursery.  Those posts will begin this week since I now currently own all of the elements needed to get started.  You are all about to see a side of me you didn’t know existed.  It’s called craftiness.  And this time there are no negative connotations attached to that describing word.

>  I’m huge.  26 weeks big.  Expect a new belly shot to arrive soon.  It’s much less glamorous than I imagined, being pregnant.  I for some reason have always seen pregnant women as being so exclusive and beautiful.  Now that I’m here…..I’m pretty sure no one thinks this is cute.  It’s awkward and I’m walking like I have bowel control issues.  I still love being pregnant.  It’s been so great so far.  Outside of not having any pants that fit well…..I kind of dig this.

>  It looks like Chris is going to be a mostly stay at home dad come this August.  Anyone in the market for a heavily used XBOX 360 and a crate full of top of the line games?  I know where you can find one cheap.

> What is it about Chicago that makes me feel as if I need to eat every 20 minutes?  It’s a good thing I don’t live here full time.  It probably wouldn’t be long before I’d be dead here full time.  Speaking of food (again).  This week someone by the name of “Mexican Food” started following me on Twitter.  I’m not sure how they knew I have a strange addiction to mexican food right now, but seriously…..I can barely stand to go more than 3 days without some cheese dip and chicken fajita quesadilla.  It’s 10 AM and I’m in Chicago and it’s all I want.  Deep dish?  Uh no….please pass the sour cream please!
