2 things.

May 7, 2009

despite the fact that this has practically become a shrine to all things Sydney…i have to tell you that today she actually got so excited at the site of a fellow K9 walking on the other side of the street that she accidentally went dookie.  i’ve never actually seen an animal scare itself with poo…but she has managed to totally exceed my expectations once again.  i just wish i would have had a camera handy so i could share with the world the look on her face as she turned around to look at her tush with astonishment.  i mean…i tend to be a proud pooer, especially when i am in one of those situations where in most cases your body would rather die and decompose than go to the bathroom (i.e. camp….first date….mexico) and randomly your butt’s all like “I DON’T EVEN CARE…THIS IS GONNA HAPPEN..HOLLA!”.  but this beats that.  by far.

last night, in what i think was a compliment, my husband thanked me for taking care of our home, albeit it mostly being an afterthought to my internet TV addiction.  he stated, and (i mostly) quote, “if it weren’t for you i fear that someday i might become buried alive in my things and the headlines would be like ‘young man found completely encased in his stuff’….so yeah….that would stink….thanks for not letting that happen to me”.
i’m still thinking that is just a beautiful and eloquent expression of gratitude from a man who answers almost all text messages and phone calls with “hello…i’m not wearing pants”.

You are the only person that I am aware of capable of writing about dog poo and your pantless husband in one blog and yet linking the two is such a fashion that it remains coherent and entertaining.

You do realize that you are addicted to the subject of Sydney defecating, don’t you?
